At Kyniska, reliable and secure IT infrastructure is fundamental to everything we build. We’re looking for a Systems Administrator who understands how to maintain mission-critical systems and services while constantly seeking ways to optimize performance, enhance security, and improve reliability.

We’re looking for a:

Systems Administrator with a hands-on approach and a proactive mindset to join our infrastructure team. You’ll be responsible for the daily management of systems and networks, ensuring uptime, stability, and operational efficiency across the board.

What You’ll Need:

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Systems Administrator or in a similar IT operations role

  • Solid experience managing Linux and/or Windows servers in production environments

  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM

  • Strong understanding of networking concepts: DNS, DHCP, firewalls, VPNs, IP routing

  • Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Zabbix, Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana)

  • Proficiency in scripting languages like BashPowerShell, or Python for automation

  • Experience managing user accountspermissions, and IT security policies

  • Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery procedures and tools

  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, Agile team environment

  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

  • Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef)

  • Exposure to containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)

  • Knowledge of ITIL practices or certifications in system/network administration

  • Hands-on experience with identity and access management (IAM) systems
